Everyone's Yoga
You don't have to be flexible or strong to practice yoga. This is a platform for you to connect within, tap into the deeper teaching of yoga, and give yourself the deepest love you know you deserve.

What is Everyone's Yoga about?
And who is Susan Hu?
Susan Hu is an E-RYT® 500, YACEP®, and founder of an RYS® 500 based in New York City. She is an international yoga and meditation teacher, teacher trainer, retreat leader, and wellness educator with more than 2,000 hours of training and over a decade of teaching experience.
Born and raised in Shanghai, Susan has always been drawn to exploring the deeper meaning and purpose of life beyond the body and mind. Her lifelong relationship with movement began with ballet at the age of four and modeling at age twelve. At twenty, she was crowned Miss Shanghai and spent two years working in the public spotlight. Although her early career centered around performance and media, her deeper calling ultimately led her toward a life of service through yoga, meditation, and spiritual practice.
Susan holds two Master's degrees in Media and Journalism from Keio University and Indiana University, and previously worked as a Director of Marketing and Communications in New York City.
Despite professional success, she felt inspired to dedicate her life to sharing the transformative practices of yoga and meditation. Today, she believes that when we care for ourselves with genuine self-love and live in alignment with our deepest values, we create the conditions to heal ourselves and positively impact the world around us.
Inspired by the desire to make yoga accessible to everyone, Susan created #EveryonesYoga, a platform rooted in the belief that yoga belongs to all people regardless of age, gender, body type, nationality, social status, or any label society places upon us.
Susan has collaborated with organizations including Animal Connection, Earth Matter NY, Community Yoga Shanghai, In Defense of Animals, Compassion Arts, and Project by Project to expand access to yoga and meditation. She has taught at the Summer Solstice in Times Square, demonstrated yoga at the United Nations, and hosted the United Nations' 6th International Day of Yoga Celebration. She has also led and assisted more than 40 yoga and meditation teacher trainings, mentoring hundreds of students on their teaching journeys.
Susan is an initiated disciple of His Holiness Radhanath Swami in the Brahma Madhva Gaudiya Sampradaya, where she received the spiritual name Brinda Kumari Devi Dasi. Her personal practice and teaching are deeply influenced by the Bhakti tradition, blending ancient yogic wisdom with practical tools for modern life.
Her teaching style is known for being nourishing, grounding, and uplifting, with a strong emphasis on conscious breathing, nervous system regulation, and cultivating a meaningful relationship with the Self. She teaches Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Prana Nidra, Pranayama, Prana Vidya Healing, Chakra Meditation, and other traditional yoga and meditation practices. In addition to public classes, she leads workshops, teacher trainings, local and international retreats, and offers Ayurveda-inspired self-care consultations.
Susan currently serves as a Senior Lead Teacher and Yoga Board Member at the Bhakti Center in New York City. She also teaches regular classes at Alo Yoga, Sui Yoga, BeTime Practice, and other studios and wellness communities.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly someone who genuinely enjoys teaching yoga and holding space for her students.
Loved the little nuggets of spiritual wisdom she shares in her classes, which makes the experience so much richer and deeper. And the use of scented oil near the end of class -- so relaxing!! 10/10 would recommend.

I am very new to the practice of yoga and Susan made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I was quite nervous going into it but she walked me through everything, was patient and has truly made me fall in love with the practice.
So grateful I found Susan!

Susan is deeply knowledgeable. I have been taking her classes for over 4 years and she is an amazing and inspiring teacher. She has so much to offer, from classical, powerful vinyasa classes to yoga nidra, where she guides you into a deep state of rest. She is very supportive and picks up where you are and on top of that, she is a generous person with a great sense of humor.
Melody S.

I have been practicing for many years and feel so blessed to receive Susan's one-on-one teaching. Her style brings joy and equanimity to balance the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of yoga. She is very generous in sharing her deep wisdom and understanding of the history, root and heart of yoga and meditation. She is a bright and brilliant presence and a wonderful teacher.
